dramatic scenery as you slowly make the
climb from the sparkling Pacific Ocean
to ancient forests and snow capped
mountains that surround the beautiful
alpine village of Whistler. Overnight

Day 11 - Whistler to Quesnel: Board
the Rocky Mountaineer from Whistler
and journey to the historic shorelines
of Anderson and Seton Lakes, which
allowed steamboats to open the interior
of British Columbia for colonization. Just
beyond lies the semi-desert scrub of the
Fraser Canyon and the volcanic plateau of
the Cariboo Plateau ranchlands. The day
concludes as the train follows the Fraser
River into Quesnel. Overnight Quesnel.

Day 12 - Quesnel to Jasper: Your rail
journey continues east this morning
through the borders of Northern BC,
where the mysterious influence of the
First Nations people is felt more strongly
than anywhere else. The Rocky Mountain
trench gives way to the mountains that
rise steeply to the south as magnificent
Mount Robson comes into view before
arriving at the heritage town of Jasper.

Day 13 - Jasper to Banff - Rockies
Discovery and Glacier Adventure Tour:
Enjoy the wildlife, pristine lakes, and
breathtaking mountain vistas along the
world-famous Icefields Parkway. Visit the
natural wonder of the Columbia Icefield
- one of the largest expanses of ice and
snow south of the Arctic Circle. Step
onboard an Ice Explorer for an adventure
onto the Athabasca Glacier. At the Glacier
Skywalk, enjoy unobstructed views on
a glass-floored observation platform
extending 30 metres out over the
Sunwapta Valley. Afterwards, a brief stop
will be made at Bow Lake before arriving
into Banff. Overnight Banff. L
Day 14 - Transfer provided from your
hotel to Calgary airport for your overnight
flight home.
