NETWORK NEWSThe regular newsletter for Palletways Spring 2015
This year we're focusing more than ever
on service excellence to make sure that
we build on our already best-in-class
service and continue to add value for our
customers. We have enjoyed phenomenal
success over the last few years and have
an international dimension which far
exceeds that of our competitors. The key
to us achieving further growth lies in
continuously driving for service excellence
and in targeting those customers who
really value our service reliability and
consistency.
To ensure we all set the bar consistently
high, we have reinforced exactly what
Palletways expects at each stage in the
life of a consignment. This is why we
recently provided all of our members with
'Compliance with the Perfect Transaction'
guidelines. This document clearly outlines
the process and emphasises the operational
efficiency and standards we must achieve
via nine key elements such as accurate data
capture, accurate manifesting and ETAs
for all deliveries. Ultimately, it's about the
importance members need to place on every
element that impacts on providing service
excellence. > Continued on Page 3

celebrations for
Palletways 51
Congratulations to Palletways 51 which is celebrating
its 25th birthday this year.
A founder member of Palletways, the business has enjoyed
great success over the past two decades, so much so the team
relocated from the hub to a 55,000sq ft hangar in January 2013.
This allowed the business to grow, delivering and collecting
around 1,000 pallets per day on a 25-truck fleet.
Dez Shirley, Managing Director at Palletways 51, said:
"Last year we invested
in seven new vehicles.
This year the entire team
is focused on hitting the
ambitious targets in our
strategic sales plan -
while we enjoy the odd
birthday tipple to mark
our quarter of a century
of course!"
