Way which has spectacular views of Tower
Bridge (not to be confused with the boat
HMS President).
We are privileged to have the Royal Naval Presentation
Team with us during the evening who will give us a
short multimedia insight into current conflicts. here
will be a drink on arrival and a fork supper after the
presentation. he deck of the Ward Room overlooks
the hames and the spacious bar will enable all OAs,
friends and family to chat in style. Invitations are
included with the mailing and are on the OA website
to download.
hanks to everyone who sent in their news. We have tried to include as many of you as possible in
the OA Round-up section and we hope that you will enjoy reading what your fellow OAs have been
up to. he newsletter also contains information about some exciting forthcoming events, such as the
London Reception at HMS President near Tower Bridge in March, the King's Hall Ball to celebrate 60
years at Pyrland Hall and the OA Reunion at King's in June. I hope that you will make contact with your
contemporaries and come along. I look forward to seeing you.

delighted to hear news items from around the world. Please do keep the news coming in - we
will be developing the Summer edition of the OA newsletter into a magazine style format which
will carry news updates from OAs, the Club Office and the School, as well as reviewing events and
carrying articles and information of interest to the King's community. he January edition will remain
a slim-line update, focused on publicising the details of forthcoming events. You can also post news
for other OAs to read on the Club website: www.aluredian.co.uk. If you don't have a username and
password, or need a reminder of your log-in details, please contact the Club Office. We also now
have active pages on Facebook and LinkedIn, keeping you updated with current events and enabling
networking amongst the OA community.
