Please join us for a celebration of our history on Friday 1st June 2012. All former
pupils and their families are welcome to join us for school tours, archive display,
school concert and lunch, followed by a cricket match and tea. For the stalwarts
we also welcome everyone to the King's Hall Ball. Please book your tickets/table
in advance.
October 24, 1952 saw the official opening of King's Junior House in their
new home at Pyrland Hall by Bishop Bradfield. he junior boys were living
in cramped accommodation in the main building at King's College when
the opportunity arose to purchase Pyrland Hall after the death of Colonel
Pemberton in 1951. hirty five years later another milestone was reached
when girls and the pre-prep moved over from King's House on King's College's
Convent site to form a newly amalgamated school, King's Hall.

The King's Hall Ball
1st June 2012 - 7.30pm until 1.00am
The ball will be staged in a marquee in the
beautiful grounds of King's Hall
• Champagne and canapés reception.
• Accompanied by music performed by the
pupils.
• A superb three course dinner created by
'William's Kitchen of Calcot'.
• Stunning dance band and disco.
• Dazzling fireworks.
