Now a Great Grandfather,
I have mostly retired from
my work as a Consultant
Psychiatrist working with
Children and Adolescents.
I am a Trustee of the
Multiple Sclerosis Trust and
continue to be involved in
MS affairs. I regularly ride,

I work as a financial
analyst and cash manager
at Robert Talbott Inc, a
high end tie and shirt
manufacturer and retailer.
We are looking to
expand our international exposure. My wife Jane and I
spend our free time with my Clumber Spaniel, Breakaway's
Two for the Road, TDX, RN, BN, CGC ("Roadie"). he
photograph shows us with him after he completed his
Tracking Dog Excellent (TDX) title in April this year.
Now enjoying semi-retirement
after an early careeer as an RAF
engineering officer followed by a
spell in project management in
the petrochemical industry and for
the last 25 years the development
of personal computer software. I
have enjoyed meeting some of
my contemporaries at the various
recent OA gatherings and I look
forward to, hopefully, many more!
I am now spending my extra time cycling and paragliding
in the UK, Sardinia and Brazil. I currently live in Battersea,
London, and yes, the picture really is of me, about to take
off at Beachey Head, Sussex!

Gilbert Lloyd - Meynell
Gilbert Lloyd has recently been appointed Custos of he
Cathedral School Llandaff; a fellow Woodard school and
his alma mater prior to King's. He also now sits on the
Audit Committee of the Woodard Corporation. Llandaff
has an ambitious development programme up and
running to extend to 6th form from their current GCSE
provision and Gilbert would be delighted to hear from
any joint OL/OA who would be interested to know more
of their plans. He keeps in touch with Paul Guest, Ryvan
Evans and Arek Joseph all of whom are on good form.

Peter D'Oench - Meynell
As I write this, I am standing by a mini "shrine" that I have
in my home to my favourite NFL football team, the "New
England Patriots." I am from Middletown, in the heart of
New England and went to Wesleyan University with the
coach, Bill Belichick. My days in Meynell at King's College
kindled my love for rugby. I've been at WFOR TV CBS
Doral (near Miami) since 2007 after 18 years at WPLG-TV
ABC Miami with a brief stint in between at WKRN TV
Nashville. I recently received a Silver Circle Award for more
than 25 years of reporting in the South Florida market. I
have three daughters, Holly, Jennifer and Dana. My wife
Connie makes custom cakes as a hobby and part-time
business. I remain in touch with Mike Ide King Alfred '69.
He and his family live in the Boston area and I hope that
he too is a Patriots fan!

Richard Clark - Woodard
I retired from the army in 2007
after 33 years in the Royal
Artillery and then worked as a
MOD Civil Servant in Artillery
Trials and Development for 4
years until compelled to take
ill health retirement as a result
of service in Afghanistan and
Iraq. I have just completed a part time MA from
Birmingham University in WW1 studies which was
extremely stimulating and am now fully retired! I was
delighted to gain my degree as JJP (JJ Pytches my
housemaster) once told me I had no hope of ever getting
to a university!
