CARNIVAL SUNSHINE
This fun packed 103,881 tonne ship began life as the
Carnival Destiny in 1995. She underwent an extensive $155
million refit in 2013 incorporating many of the Fun Ship
2.0 enhancements to become the very popular Carnival
Sunshine. She then had further enhancements made in
2016. The Palm Tree Lined Serenity Adult-only retreat
is the best of the fleet. It is situated on three decks and
features a bar, whirlpool, waterfall and swimming pool.
For the kids: checkout the Carnival Waterworks featuring 3
water slides & a splash park OR Sports Square where you
can test your balance on the ropes course. The main resort
pool includes Guy's Burger Joint, Red Frog Rum Bar and
Blue Iguana Tequila Bar & Cantina. Plus at night watch big
screen favourites at the Movie Drive-In Seaside theatre.
At night, the Havana Bar is positively jumping with a Latin
vibe; while Ocean Plaza is the centre of all the action. The Red
Frog Pub has an excellent atmosphere and will become your
local during your cruise. The Alchemy Bar is also on-board
too. The Piano Bar is always a popular and lively spot while
the theatre transforms into the Liquid Lounge nightclub on
selected nights only for an ultra special club night out.
