KRISTEN MERCER - Taylor 2004
Kristen has just
completed a BA Hons
degree at Somerset
College. Her paintings
are entirely intuitive
and combine play,
planning, spontaneity,
accident and gesture.
Her aim is to create a
balance of order and
chaos, harmony and
discord that ultimately
resonates a sense of self.
Her work will be on display at King's in September as part
of Somerset Contemporary Artists' Network Outside
the Box exhibition, during which she and other members
of SCAN will work with students to creatively transform
boxes donated by Ark Removals, Taunton.
ALEXANDRA WYNN - Taylor 2008
Alexandra Wynn is a member of the opera trio 'he Sirens'
who reached the final of the National competition 'Britain
Does Variety' 2012. he trio met whilst studying at the
Royal Northern College of Music where Alexandra is an
ABRSM scholar and are currently recording an album
together which should be available later this year. You can

ALEXANDRA THORNE - Taylor 2009
Is thoroughly enjoying life at Brasenose College, Oxford,
where she has been secretary of the University Polo
society and also of the Clay Pigeon society and will be on
Internship at Royal Bank of Canada for 9 weeks through
the summer.
JESS MASON - Taylor 2007
After graduating
from the
University
of Leicester
(Medical
Genetics) Jess
completed her
Yachtmaster
exams and has
been working as a Media Intern with the Clipper Round
the World Race. She left Southampton on the De Lage
Landen sponsored boat at the end of July 2011 en route to
Rio via Madeira and over to Cape Town. She left Cape Town
on Edinburgh - Inspiring Capital boat, and has tackled the
southern oceans on the way to Geraldton (Western Aust)
- then on to New Zealand, the Gold Coast, Singapore, and
Qingdao. San Francisco, Panama, New York, Nova Scotia,
Ireland, Holland, arriving back in the UK in July 2012. he
boats are full racing yachts - no comforts and crewed by
non-professional sailors.
HEATHER SCOTT - Meynell 2001
I got married on 19 May
2012 to James Bladon.
I met James at Oxford
Brookes where we both
studied for an MSc in
Real Estate in 2005/6. We
then moved to London
and both qualified as
Chartered Surveyors.
We got married at
St Andrew's Church,
Clayhidon, Devon.
