Corporate Sponsorship
here are various corporate sponsorship opportunities available to OAs, including
sponsoring items of sports kit, either for playing matches at home or for a specific team
tour or competition.
Currently, we are seeking sponsors for four trophies for the King's College show jumping
competition. his will be taking place at Comeytrowe at the end of September. Individuals
may choose to sponsor one or more trophies at a range of price levels, and there is a
naming opportunity attached to sponsorship of a trophy.

Legacies
Legacies are a wonderful way to support the school and we are very grateful to the OAs who have let us know about
their legacy gift. We have formed an Old Pelicans Society that recognises those who have left a gift to King's College in
their Wills. It provides the opportunity to thank donors properly and to keep them informed of the school's plans and
achievements. David Stott, Woodard 1945, has agreed to be the Chairman of the Society and we welcome his support.
Membership is open to anyone who lets us know they have made a gift to the school and all members are invited to
a lunch at the school each year. his year we hope to have a Christmas Lunch in the House of Commons during the
first week of December and all OAs and their partners are welcome to attend - you do not need to be a legacy donor
to attend! Further details will be sent in September with the 40s and 50s Luncheon mailing.
"As the years advance one appreciates more and more the way one was affected by early expereince in life. Whilst
detailed memories of being at King's fade, my sense of gratitude to the school grows ever stronger. Supporting the Old
Pelican Society is a fine way to give that gratitude concrete expression and to enable more people to enjoy the King's
experience" John C Q Roberts, Woodard 1950
