Good to Know
• 25 % of your basic salary per month for the 4 months whilst on
maternity leave for permanent employees that have 1 (one) year or
more of service with Synexus
• Full contribution to your pension fund whilst on maternity leave for
permanent employees that have 1 (one) year or more of service with
Synexus
• Annual leave will be accrued during the maternity leave period
• To be entitled to the new company maternity pay, employees are
required to continue in employment for at least 4 months following
their return from maternity leave
• Employees who leave employment before the period of four months
of their return from maternity leave, will be required to pay back the
enhanced part of their maternity pay
• Temporary employees or employees with less than one year service
will not be eligible for the Company Maternity Pay and will be entitled
to four months unpaid leave
Time Off in Lieu
Employees will need to take time off from work from time-to-time for
personal appointments such as dentist, doctor or hospital visits, or to resolve
issues in the home such as repairs and maintenance for example.
Appointments should be arranged for the most suitable time of the day when
it causes the least impact on your work and the team. Normally this is early
morning or near the end of the day.
