Maternity Pay
You will be entitled to the Company Maternity Pay if you have been
employed permanently at Synexus Clinical Research SA for 1 continues year
by the time you start your Maternity Leave.
Company Maternity Pay, if payable, is paid as follows:
• 25 % of your basic salary per month for the 4 month whilst on
maternity leave
• Full contribution to your pension fund whilst on maternity leave
• Annual leave will be accrued during the maternity leave period
• No Incentives will be paid for the period whilst the employees in on
maternity leave. An employee must work a full quarter to be eligible
for the incentive payment.
• 13th cheque, if applicable will be paid as per the company policy and
discretion of management
To be entitled to the company maternity pay, employees are required to
continue in employment for at least 4 months following their return from
maternity leave. Employees who leave employment before this date, will be
required to pay back the enhanced part of their maternity pay.
Employees will have the option to claim maternity benefits from the
Department of Labour, in terms of the Unemployment Insurance Act 63 of
2001
