Pressure Ulcer Prevention
All facilities openly display their individual standard of
pressure ulcer prevention in the form of a safety cross and
the number of days between the development of pressure
ulcers.
These tools enable each ward to benchmark their own
progress and provide easy access of this information to all
staff, patients and the public.
In 2017 we had the pleasure of congratulating three wards
on achieving 1000+ pressure ulcer free days. This is an
outstanding achievement and reflection upon the level of
care and commitment within the Trust.
Well done everybody, let's keep the spirit alive as we
collaboratively strive to reduce pressure ulcer incidence
Trust wide.
