The Arden Hotel - Visitor Charter 2024
Date of next review: September 2025
At The Arden Hotel, we are committed to protecting the environment from any adverse
effects arising from its activities or services provided.
Please join us in partnership in caring for our future and follow our Visitor Charter:
Conserve energy - We have been implementing energy saving LED bulbs throughout the
hotel and turn off lights and climate controls in any areas that are not in use. You can reduce
energy further by switching off your room lights and the air conditioning when you leave
your room. Please close windows if the heating is on. Please turn electrical appliances off
at the plug and not on stand-by. Only boil as much water as you require when making hot
drinks. The Energy Saving Trust provides information on what you can do at home.
Give the Car a Rest - Having arrived at the hotel please consider leaving the car behind, if
only for a day. Walk, cycle or use public transport. Details are available from our Reception
team.
Respect Nature - Help us to look after the landscape and wildlife by not littering and please
don't leave bags of dog waste behind. Please use allocated footpaths and follow signposts
to minimise disturbance to flowers and fauna. Know the Countryside Code.
The Countryside Code

Protect the natural environment

Shop Local - Use local products and services. They give you a flavour of the area and help us
support local communities. We are fortunate to have some fantastic producers of food,
drink, and arts and crafts in our region. Our menus are designed to support local and artisan
suppliers wherever possible.
