for embarkation on River Baroness.
Day 3 - Vernon (Giverny), Les Andelys -
Visit Monet's former home and in Giverny.
Visit Château Gaillard to see the ruins
of Richard the Lionheart's 12th-century
stronghold.
Day 4 - Rouen (Normandy Beaches) -
Visit historic Omaha Beach PLUS choose:
Juno Beach, or, Bayeux for the famous
11th-century tapestry of the Battle of
Hastings.
Day 5 - Rouen - Visit the medieval
quarter, the Gros Horloge and the bronze
cross marking the site where Joan of Arc
was burned at the stake in 1431 and visit
Rouen's Gothic Notre-Dame Cathedral.
Day 6 - Caudebec-en-Caux (Honfleur)

where you will be transferred to the hotel.
Day 2 - Prague - Panoramic city tour
visiting Prague Castle and Old Town
Square. Or, explore Jewish Prague on a

Day 3 - Prague, transfer to Nuremberg
(embark) - Enjoy a panoramic tour of
the medieval walled city. Embark River
Ambassador.
Day 4 - Bamberg - Walking tour of
Bamberg-a UNESCO World Heritage
Site- visit the Cathedral of St. Peter and
St. George, the 17th-century New Palace and

Day 5 - Cruising the Main River,
Würzburg (Rothenburg) - Enjoy a
guided tour of Rothenburg. After dinner
onboard, visit Würzburg, crossing the old

Day 6 - Würzburg, cruising the Main
River - Tour the Würzburg Residence
- a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Alternatively, meet the friendly residents
of a Franconian village and learn more
about daily life.
Day 7 - Miltenberg, cruising the Main
River - Meet an artist at their atelier, taste
beer at a local brewery, try your hand
at lawn bowling or visit a nearby familyowned vineyard.
Take a bike ride along
the Main or a hike up to the castle ruins.
Day 8 - Nierstein (Nierstein and
Heidelberg), cruising the Rhine River
- Spend the day in Nierstein, where
renowned white wines have been
produced for centuries. Ride through
scenic vineyards, sample Rieslings and
learn about viniculture from an expert.
Head to Heidelberg, where you'll see the
ruins of the Heidelberg Castle and the

Day 9 - Strasbourg, cruising the Rhine
