Day 5 - Garonne River and Gironde
Estuary, Pauillac - Cruise the Garonne to
Pauillac, gateway to the fabled Médoc
wine route. Enjoy a panoramic tour of the
celebrated Haut-Médoc wine region and
taste wines at a local winery.
Day 6 - Blaye, cruising the Gironde
Estuary and Dordogne River, Libourne
- Head ashore for a scenic drive along the
Route de la Corniche Fleurie, which winds its
way through picturesque hamlets, and enjoy
a guided walk through the imposing 17thcentury Blaye Fortress,
a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.
Day 7 - Libourne (Saint-Émilion) - SaintÉmilion was the first UNESCO-designated
wine-growing region, with vineyards dating
from Roman times. Enjoy a walking discovery
tour with wine tasting.
Day 8 - Libourne, Garonne River,
Bordeaux - Libourne's sprawling farmers'
market is a food lover's paradise, with stands
selling cheeses, charcuterie and more.
Explore with a local expert and take a peek
inside the workshops of talented local
artisans. Later, enjoy an exclusive evening
tour of the city of Bordeaux.
Day 9 - Bordeaux - Discover Bordeaux
on a special tour featuring luxury food halls,
local delicacies and grand 18th-century
architecture. Or, see the sights on a guided
bike ride.
Day 10 - Bordeaux (disembark) -
Disembark River Royale and transfer to
Bordeaux Airport for return flight home.
Day 6 - Dürnstein, cruising the Wachau
Valley - Visit the charming village of
Dürnstein, nestled at the foot of a hill
crowned with the romantic ruins of a
12th-century castle. See the beautiful blue
façade of the town's baroque monastery

Day 8 - Passau, Vilshofen - In Passau,

free time to explore the local Christmas
Market. Continue on to Theresienthal, and
take a horse-drawn wagon ride through the
scenic Bavarian Forest
Day 9 - Regensburg, Germany - The
UNESCO-designated city of Regensburg
is a delight to explore on foot, and your
walking discovery tour will take you down
quaint cobblestone streets and through
centuries of colorful history.
Day 10 - Roth, Nuremberg, Germany
- Discover the medieval walled city of
Nuremberg is yours to discover today on a
panoramic tour. Stop at the imperial castle,
Kaiserburg, and stroll past the handsome
half-timbered houses of the charming old
quarter. Make your way to the famous
Christkindlesmarkt, one of the best and the
largest Christmas markets in Germany.
Day 11 - Nuremberg, Germany
(Disembark) - Disembark S.S. Maria
Theresa, transfer to Munich Airport for
