Getting married in King's Chapel
14 Many congratulations to Jos Buttler on scoring a
magnificent 85 on debut with England in the hird Test
against India. Dennis Breakwell told the Somerset County
Gazette that his call up to the team 'is absolutely brilliant
news but nothing that I didn't expect since he came here to
join us at King's'. Dennis explained to the Daily Mail that in
his opinion by the time Buttler was 16 and averaging almost
95, he was a 'better cricketer ability-wise than Ian Botham at
that age'. Dennis also said that 'I've got a bet on that he'll be
England captain in five years'.
Alex Barrow who shared in a record opening stand of 340
runs with Jos Buttler at King's in 2008, was on duty as twelfth
man for England for the five days of the recent Lord's test.
