OA Boarding Bursaries for King's Hall and
King's College
In recognition both of our valued Alumni and of the importance of boarding to the ethos of the two schools, we are
launching new Boarding Bursaries, given to all children and grandchildren of our Alumni. To qualify for one of these
bursaries, your child must board at King's Hall School from the start of Year 7, or earlier. he Bursary will be a reduction of
25% of the full boarding fee at King's Hall and, if your child/grandchild goes on to board at King's College, the remission will
continue at the rate of 15% of the full boarding fee.
If you would be interested in taking up this Bursary, or require further information about the conditions
under which it is offered, please contact Miles MacEacharn, Director of Finance, at King's Schools Taunton on

A New Boarding Option at King's Hall
An alternative option at King's Hall for all day parents is that from September 2014 all children can board for up to 5 nights a
week (excluding Saturday) for an additional £500 per term which equates to less than £50 per week over the year, compared
to the cost of a single night's boarding which will be £37.50. here is no OA discount on this offer.
he benefits to the children are pretty obvious: on a daily basis these include fun, friendship, no early morning wake up calls
to get to school on time, great meals and some exciting activities when they would otherwise be stuck in a traffic jam on
the return journey at the end of the day.
Boarding is a real strength at King's Hall and under the current Houseparents, Clare and Mickey Masters, there is a terrific
atmosphere to enjoy. Children do not have to board for all 5 nights, but booking in advance is necessary. Breakfast, supper
and reasonable laundry for the times your child is in the boarding house are included, and there are also the fun activities
that the boarders get up on weekdays.
Pelican Nursery
Clare Masters' mother, Maureen Willson, former Headmistress at King's Hall, opened the new Pelican Nursery in March. his
is a fantastic new facility, purpose-built for two year olds. Children also have direct access from the dedicated Nursery room
to our wonderful woodland play area, as well as the use of the school's many other facilitieeguppy@kingshalltaunton.co.ukrther details please contact Emma Guppy, Admissions Registrar eguppy@kingshalltaunton.co.uk.
