In Collaboration with Safe and Effective Care, the Tissue Viability Team hosted a Pressure Ulcer
Celebration and Educational Event in May 2018.
The Public Health Agency gifted monies to the Trust to facilitate staff awareness and learning in
regards to pressure ulcer prevention management.
The session was fun and interactive and included a quiz which helped stimulate discussion and
learning. The Tissue Viability Team used the opportunity to recognise and congratulate individual care
settings for the hard work and commitment that is evident Trustwide.
