WINES OF THE SEASON
The White Wine Glass
175ml/250ml Bottle
Edmund Norton planted the first vines in Mendoza`s Luyan de Cuyo district. At 900-1100 meters,
the altitude moderates the temperature, causing an extended ripening season, and also expose
the vines to more ultraviolet light, which encourages the development of colour. The result is
whites packed with vibrant flavour and good natural acidity.

Grapefruit and peach flavours are followed by floral notes and that distinctive white pepper spice, so typical of
this variety. Crisp, light and fruit-forward, a crowd-pleasing interpretation of Austria`s signature whites grape.
Norton has 680 hectares if vineyard in production meticulously mapped abd divided into parcels so
that the individua varieties, clones and training methods suit to soil each. Minimal treatments are
used in the vineyards, which are run along virtually organic lines. All the grapes are hand-picked in
the first week of March from eighteen- year- old vines planted on clay and gravel in the La Colonia
vineyard.
The Rose Wine Glass

Chateau Minuty was purchased in 1936 by the Matton- Farnet family and soon after, the vineyards
were completely replanted with a focus on traditional, local grape varieties, painstakingly farmed to
produce lower yields. By 1960s, this quality-led approach had paid dividends as the wines of
Chateau Minuty became a fixture on the lists of the finest restaurants of the Cote d`Azur.

Intense aromas of citrus and white flowers give way to flavours of grapefruits, peach and red berries. There
is texture and structure here and a saline, mineral streak running through the wine which gives substance
and adds interest.
The grapes come from vineyards in various municipalities in the Abruzzo Region, with a
specific and dedicated pruning regime that limits fruit production and allows good
circulation of air around the bunches, ensuring even ripening.
