White Wine Glass
175ml/250ml Bottle
Chenin Blanc, Byter, Niel Joubert,
South Africa, 2018
£7.5/£10 £28
A nose of melon, flowers and savoury notes with some honey-spiced fruit leads to a tropical palate that
combines depth of fruit with a bright, crisp finish.
Grüner Veltliner, Finca La Colonia, Mendoza,
Argentina, 2018 (seasonal recommendation)
£8.50/£11 £32
Grapefruit and peach flavours are followed by floral notes and that distinctive white pepper spice, so typical
of this variety. Crisp, light and fruit-forward, a crowd-pleasing interpretation of Austria`s signature whites
grape.
Phoenix, Poulton Hill Estate, Cirencester,
Gloucestershire, 2018
£9/£12 £35
Phoenix is deceptively light in colour. The nose has fabulous elderberry and herbaceous hints reminiscent of
a traditional French Sauvignon. This medium-bodied wine is packed full of flavour with notes of lychee,
elderberry and gooseberry, followed by a refreshingly clean finish.
Pinot Grigio, Castel Firmian, Trentino, Italy, 2017 £9/£12.5 £34
A nicely balanced Pinot Grigio, with a gentle floral aroma, good medium weight in the mouth, and a
refreshing finish.
Sauvignon Blanc, Featherdrop Hill, Marlborough,
New Zealand, 2017
£10/13 £38
This is absolutely classic Marlborough Sauvignon: vibrant gooseberry, passion fruit and nectarine backed
with hints of herbaceousnes. Impressive weight of flavour on the palate with richness and texture.
Chablis, Jean-Marc Brocard, France, 2017 £12.5/£17 £49
The nose is precise, pure and mineral, with additional notes of citrus. The palate is classic Chablis: structured,
crisp and delicious, with flavours echoing the nose. A textbook flinty aroma gives way to green apple, lemon
and mineral flavours in this white, which shows fine depth and richness, offset by vibrant acidity. Excellent
length.
Rosé wine Glass
175ml/250ml Bottle
Poulton Hill Rose, Cirencester, Gloucestershire
2018
£9/12 £35
Fresh fruit notes of cherries, red berries and red plums. On the palate it is dry, fresh and elegant, with a hint
of citrus and a long aftertaste.
Cotes de Provence Rose, Minuty Prestig, 2018
(seasonal recommendation)
£11.50/15 £44
Intense aromas of citrus and white flowers give way to flavours of grapefruits, peach and red berries.
