a lovely town in a great Grand
Massif ski area. Or awardwinning Valmorel,

place to buy, says Heather

network of agents. "Most resorts
continue to invest and improve,
with many becoming much
more vibrant for longer seasons
as owners spend longer in their
second homes, and remote
working is more acceptable."
The Alpine market has been
especially busy with people
escaping to the mountains

enjoying the fresh air and the
healthy lifestyle. Though the
Alps tend to be more expensive
than the Pyrénées, even in
the world-renowned Three
Valleys, you can still get a

€100,000 or a large property for
€500,000 in resorts such as Les
Deux Alpes. Les Deux Alpes is
due to be linked to Alpe d'Huez,
so buying property here will be
a sound investment.
