OA Update
Nick Broom - Carpenter 1974
My wife Wendy retired last August after which we began
planning a trip to remember. Leaving in May 2015 we set off
to arrive in Crete by the end of October. he planning was
easy - there isn't one!
Trying to fit all the essentials that are needed into a short
wheelbase ex Special Forces LandRover Defender has proved
the hardest problem.
We are currently on the Portuguese/Spanish border, learning
much about Wellington's antics in these parts in 1812.
Once in Crete (presuming Greece hasn't imploded by
then) we will be looking for a long term let and to alternate
between there & Cornwall!

Me flying a 757 over Crete at 37,000 feet.
I have now retired after twenty six years as a Captain with
Monarch Airlines flying the Boeing 737, 757, and 767. Now
that all of the Boeings have gone, and I didn't want to fly the
Airbus, I decided to retired.
I have just finished renovating a 1942 Willys jeep so that has
kept me busy.
I also spend quite a bit of time sailing.

Steve Boddy joined the General Services Agency of the
US government this
year as a Cyber Security
Program Manager for
the Common Services
Platform. He is assisting
with the agile development
and operations of a large
enterprise-level network
with a value of over $100M.
he network will serve the
US public sector for the next
decade.
Richard Groves - Carpenter 1975
After a 33 year international career with HSBC I left the
organisation at the end of May 2014, following four eventful
years as CEO for Greece. After 6 months gardening leave I
accepted an offer from Ahli United Bank to become their
CEO for Kuwait and moved here in early April 2015: an
interesting, new challenge.
My eldest daughter, Charlotte, married Peter Mitchell-Innes,
on 13 June 2015. he wedding was at Bryanston Church and
the reception was at our home in Fontmell Parva, North
Dorset. Attending were Robin Howard (C75), Chris Meares
(W75), Poppy Houldsworth (née Scholes) (W76) and Nicky
Kaye (née Hulbert) (BF82) amongst many guests.
David Minson - Tuckwell 1975
We moved to Vancouver, Canada in 2009, having spent 16
years in Chile. I am now semi-retired living in Halfmoon Bay,
with my wife Sally, close to Vancouver where my two kids,
Matthew and Kate, now live.
