here was no escaping the election frenzy that
swept the country. King's held its own mock
election debate, with candidates representing two
constituencies and taking part in lively debate. As in
the real election, the Conservatives won comfortably in
both King's East and in King's West.
Seventeen pupils successfully completed their Duke of
Edinburgh Gold Awards - a fantastic achievement.
King's cricket continues to lead the way in the South West
and at a national level. he 1st XI have been ranked near
the top of the Wisden Schools statistics for the last six years
and continue to dominate the local cricket scene.
Girls' cricket has also continued to go from strength
to strength. he girls are showing outstanding skills
and enthusiasm. Girls' 1st XI matches are now a
regular feature and the team has entered a number of
competitions, including the National U15 T20 knockout
and the Broderick Tournament.
King's is proving to be a culinary hotspot for budding
chefs. he annual Masterchef competition yielded some
delicious dishes. he winning duo were Angus Crouch
and TJ Haller from King Alfred House with their menu
of smoked mackerel pate, tagliatelle fresco con pollo
e chorizo and a berry and vanilla pancake stack.

a fond farewell to
our 6.2 leavers and
we wish them every
