Equips practising and aspiring managers to design & implement
business improvement strategies to improve their organisation's

IHI Improvement Advisor
Development Programme
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), in conjunction
with Associates in Process Improvement (API), offers this
programme to help individuals in this critical role build and hone
skills in the art and science of improvement, plus the ability to
work with and coach front-line teams in achieving and
maintaining successful changes. (Page 16)
Scottish Improvement
Leadership Programme
(ScIL)
The Scottish Improvement Leader (ScIL) programme is a key
part of Scotland's innovative approach to address increasing
demand for lead level Quality Improvement capacity and
capability across our public services. (Page 17)
IHI Improvement Coach
Professional Development
Programme
Further develop your improvement knowledge and skills in order
to coach and facilitate improvement teams, with the IHI's
Improvement Coach Professional Development Programme.

Scottish Quality and Safety
(SQS) Fellowship
Programme
The Scottish Quality and Safety Fellowship Programme (SQS
Fellowship) is a lead level quality improvement and clinical
leadership course managed by NHS Education for Scotland
(NES), working in partnership with Healthcare Improvement
Scotland and NHS Scotland. (Page 19)

CONNECTING
Curry Club The Trust facilitates a Curry Club which brings together
colleagues to discuss, generate and sustain Quality Improvement
and Innovation within the South Eastern Trust. (Page 20)
HSCQI QI.HSCNI.net allows us to share information and learn from each
other. It's a hub for projects, tools, news and events. (Page 20)

FACILTATED SUPPORT
QI Clinics At the clinics QI Projects will be discussed to develop an
understanding of processes involved in improving safety, quality
and patient experience using skills in Continuous Quality
Improvement. These are open to all staff. (Page 22)
