The City Sightseeing Tour Bus is regularly spotted cruising through the town. They
operate tours every half hour in the summer season and hourly in the winter. They visit all
five of the Shakespeare properties, the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Holy Trinity church
and other popular spots, whilst giving you a commentary of the town and its history. You
can 'hop on-hop off' at any stop and combine the tour with tickets into the Shakespeare
houses. The tours start from Bridgefoot, opposite the Pen and Parchment Inn and run
until 5pm in the summer and 3pm in the winter. The nearest stop is across the street from
the front of the hotel, next to the RSC.
The Stratford Town Walk is an award-winning tour of the town. Departing daily,
whatever the weather, the tour escorts you around the hot-spots with expert knowledge.
The walk departs from Waterside, opposite Sheep Street, at 11am on Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday, and at 2pm the rest of the week.
The Stratford Town Ghost Walk offers an alternative guide to the town. Explore
Stratford's haunting past and delve into the unexplained. The walk departs from
Waterside, opposite Sheep Street, at 7:30pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
