AIM
To improve staff
wellbeing within
Shantallow Family
Intervention Service

WHAT HAS IT ACHIEVED?
WHAT ARE WE DOING AND WHY?
Recognising that social work can be a stressful work
environment, that can deplete the human resource of
empathy and understanding;
our Aim is to achieve a better work/life balance to promote
staff wellbeing and resilience that ultimately will benefit
service users, carers and the organisation.
➢ Increase in % of staff reporting able
to switch off from work
➢ More awareness and talking about
the importance of self care
➢ Better understanding of the
pressures and why it is sometimes
difficult to switch off
➢ Shared team vision - Strengthening
relationships
➢ Feeling valued.
