ENGINEERING ACADEMY
(SCQF Level 7)
Course overview
The College has worked in collaboration with the University
of Strathclyde, industry and other colleges to create the
Engineering Academy.
You can study an enhanced HNC in Mechanical Engineering
at the college and if you achieve the required performance
(successful completion of all the units and an A in the
Graded Unit), you will be guaranteed transfer to 2nd year of
an undergraduate degree within one of the following Faculty
of Engineering departments at the University of Strathclyde:
• Civil & Environmental Engineering
• Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management
• Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
• Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering
Please Note: Applications for The Engineering Academy
should be made via UCAS. The UCAS code for The
Engineering Academy is 0BRT. You don't need to complete
