From your first year at university onwards we offer a variety of ways to get a taste of
what life as a lawyer at Slaughter and May might be like, from campus visits through
to three weeks working alongside an associate. There's no better way to get to know
us than through first-hand insight.

What to expect
A one-day event in Spring that
provides you with an insight
into the legal profession and
more specifically the work
of an international law firm.
You will hear from partners,
associates and trainees at the
firm and have the opportunity
to talk informally with them.
Easter and Summer work
experience schemes
Who can apply?
Penultimate year students
What to expect
Our Easter scheme runs for
one week and our Summer
schemes each run for three weeks.
During these schemes you share
an office with an associate in one
of our legal groups who will involve
you in their day-to-day work.
You will be invited to take part
in training sessions, workshops and
interactive case studies and there
will be social activities arranged
to give you the opportunity to
talk with partners, associates and
trainees outside the office. We will
also pair you with a trainee solicitor
who will help you settle in and will
be on hand to answer questions.

What to expect
A two-day workshop in
December structured to give
you an insight into the firm
and the work we do. We hold
a variety of interactive sessions
