Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioners Julie Trimble and Natalie

Quality Improvement Champions
Acute Paediatrics in collaboration with Emergency
Department colleagues undertook a Quality Improvement
Project aimed at improving the care of infants with
bronchiolitis. They were winners of the 2019 SQE
programme 'Leading in Safety Quality and Experience'
Acute Care Award and also won best poster at South
Eastern HSC Trust QI showcase.
The Team were also recipients of the 2019 HSC QI
'Innovation and Transformation Award' and are
finalists in the overall HSC Quality Improvement awards
2019. Their Poster has been accepted for display at the International Forum on Quality and Safety
in Healthcare 2020, Copenhagen!
