Safe and Effective Care
User Experience
10,000 More Voices Programme
The Trust is planning delivery of the new Public Health Agency TEN THOUSAND MORE
VOICES Workplan to include creative approaches to work collaboratively with service partners
to optimise associated improvement opportunities and develop effective shared learning across
Nursing and Midwifery.
We seek to use the TEN THOUSAND MORE VOICES format to deliver an internally generated
workplan that will see us work together with Nurses, Midwives, patients and service users to
drive change and shape improvement.
Inpatient User Experience A programme will take place to workshop
a Revised Inpatient User Experience
Programme.
Having recently refreshed User Feedback
Programmes in other areas of service, inpatient
care will now undergo a Partnership-Working
Programme whereby staff and service users
will design a programme that will address
current priorities and support an improvement
pathway.
Care Opinion
2019 saw the preparation for the 2020 launch of the new
Regional HSC Online User Feedback System. The system will
be delivered using a platform called Care Opinion and will help
Services to receive and respond to user feedback in a quick, convenient and efficient manner.
Safe and Effective Care Department will manage the system and its linked programmes of work
to drive quality improvement across the Trust leading to improved user experience.
Care Opinion responders have been assigned across Trust Services and will include staff from
the Nursing and Midwifery family. These staff will be responsible for responding to the online
stories/feedback from patients and service users, and training will be provided for them via
webinar and online platforms.
A programme of Care Opinion projects will be delivered across Services and Directorates to
explore and improve patient and service user experience, helping to shape how Nurses and
Midwives deliver care in the future.
