Rarely can a school year have
been so packed with success
than the last twelve months.
We have outstanding exam
results, inspirational work for
charity, county champions,
award-winning music and
drama - and we have had a
lot of fun along the way!
The sheer energy and stamina
of our pupils (and staff!) has
to be seen to be believed.
We have started the new
school year with two brandnew
state-of-the-art allweather
hockey pitches on the
main school site, and with
news that our Marines have
won the highly prestigious
Sir Steuart Pringle Trophy,
and athlete Charlie Maclean
has been invited to train with
the full senior national UK
athletics squad.
Keep up with all our news
and reports on every sports
fixture played by logging
on to our website
www.kings-taunton.co.uk.
I hope that this volume of the
Aluredian gives a clear and
vivid impression of the
exciting year that was 2008/9.
