Artist in residence, Derek Nice, discussing his
work with 4th form artists in the new gallery
GCSE pupils created their own banners
based on local cathedrals to adorn the
school chapel
T
he main reception area was
transformed with an exhibition
of Chinese-inspired art
produced in response to the
Chinese New Year and the
work of Kate Paxman. Our
3rd form pupils created sculptures, prints, silk
paintings and ceramics. Inventive work by
pupils at King's Hall and St Peter's, Lympstone,
completed the show.
Our 3rd formers also created a large ox. Made
from fence posts and screening, it was
festooned with tags representing the animals of
the Chinese zodiac.
