The Wind Band and Big Band
entertained parents and friends with
an excellent concert just before the
Michaelmas half-term holiday.
The Rock and Pop Concert in the
Michaelmas term was a more
'unplugged' affair than usual, but none
the less enjoyed for that.
Internationally renowned pianist
Roger Woodward gave a masterclass
in October to the West Country's
finest young pianists, including our
own Alex Leung (far right), the week
before performing J S Bach's 48
Preludes and Fugues, Book 1.
The highly successful Staff Concert
raised over £1000 for Beating Bowel
Cancer and the Beacon Centre at
Musgrove Park Hospital.
