At home to Wellington we won the toss
and batted first, with Jack Samuel (73)

scoring 37.
In easily our best performance of the

scored in just 30 overs. Charlie Brain
scored a classy 112 not out, and he was
well supported by Harry Magill who hit a
powerful 92. Jake Randall and Jack
Samuel then took three wickets each as
we bowled out Bryanston for 88.
At Taunton School we managed to post
187 for 4 on a tricky batting surface, Jack

character to bat through for 83 not out.

for 43.
On the final Saturday of the season, we
managed a Twenty20 victory over Clifton,

the ball as Clifton could only reach 118 for
4. Luke then top scored with 37 as we
passed their total for the loss of only three
wickets.
T
he Bs had to wait for the Blundell's
fixture for the season to start, but
when it did, Henry Cole was the
pick of the bowlers with a five-wicket
haul, as Blundell's were bowled out for a
below-par score. Joe Buttery then hit an
unbeaten 40 as we won by eight wickets.
Against Bryanston we restricted the
opposition to 143 for 6 with Henry Cole
taking three wickets. We then knocked off
the runs relatively easily, Seb Fender top
scoring with 54 not out.

Cole and George Williams and three
wickets from Oliver Rees dismissed the
opposition for 75. We got the runs in 13
overs, with captain Ben Wagstaff hitting an
excellent 54 not out.
And we won the final match of the season
by 23 runs in a really good all-round team
effort. George Williams hit a rapid 26, and
in reply Clifton couldn't get much joy from
our bowlers. Man of the match was Guy
Torrance who took two match-winning
catches in the outfield.
