fter a rousing 5-1 win
against Richard Huish, we
sat back rather against
Wellington, and allowed
them to equalise after an
early Michelle Pearn goal.
Megane Scott made some excellent saves, and
goals by Charlotte Palmer and Katy Preece
ensured victory. We just lost a very closely
matched game at Taunton School, with both
teams creating lots of opportunities. Lucy
Sharp scored for us, but Taunton secured the
win with a last-ditch effort. Against Exeter
School we played
some of our best
hockey of the
term, and scored
first-half goals
through Flora
Evans, Katy
Preece, Flora
Webster and
Lucy Sharp.

ominating from the whistle
to beat Richard Huish 9-0,
the 3rds enjoyed an
outstanding start to their
season! Five goals came
from open play, while the
remaining four came from short corner
routines. Alice Geraghty held the midfield
together, with good support from Lara Rodgers
and Katie Blowers.
It was another dominant display against
Wellington, with Flo Main in superb form at
sweeper. Both goals came in the second half
from Kitty McIntosh and Jess Kennedy - player
of the match was Katie Blowers. An unbeaten
Taunton School side had no answer to the
excellence of Martha Gray as sweeper, while
Annabel Lumley injected some much needed
pace in midfield. Lucy Dunham was player of
the match in the 2-0 win.
At Exeter School, Alice Geraghty and Martha
Gray worked well to supply the forwards with a
whole host of scoring opportunities, which they
cheerfully took. Goals came from Kitty
McIntosh and Charlie Webb, with a brace
apiece for Jess Kennedy and Martha Gray.
It was Jess who opened the scoring against
Queen's, but we were disappointed to concede
our first goal of the season before half-time.
Kitty McIntosh began to outpace the opposition
defence though, and we finished the victory
with two more well-taken goals.
Against Sherborne we lost narrowly by just one
goal, but we were soon back to our winning
ways against Wells Cathedral School, with Kitty
McIntosh scoring twice before half-time. In a
terrific team effort, Jess Kennedy managed to
slot home four impressive goals!
We had a very evenly-matched game against
Blundell's that finished 1-1, but against
Bryanston we found ourselves 3-2 down at
half-time. With huge determination after the
interval, we frustrated the opposition's defence,
to end our season with an excellent 6-3 victory.
break to complete her hat-trick. We started
slowly against Queen's and needed expertly
timed tackles from Bryony House and Georgina
Adcock to keep in the match. After half-time
we played more like our early-season selves,
led by player of the match Amelia Evans, and
victory was clinched with goals from Charlie
Webb and Flora Evans.
We reached half-time against Sherborne 1-0
down. However we quickly equalised when
Amelia Evans passed to her sister Flora, who
slotted it calmly into the corner, and with just
minutes left, Flora Webster scored our winner.
Against Wells Cathedral School we went behind
somewhat against the run of play, Flora
Webster equalising on the stroke of half-time.
Rosie Parr scored with a superbly timed shot
and Lucy Sharp added a third with another
well-worked finish.
We conceded early on against Blundell's, and
goals from Charlotte Parris and Charlie Webb
weren't quite enough. Against Bryanston we
started well enough, but found it difficult to
keep possession against powerful opposition.
Flora Webster though finished the game and
the season on a high with a well-taken goal.
