TRANSPARENCY REPORT |
Leadership and governance
The RSM UK Audit LLP Management Board, the Public
Interest Committee and the Audit Management Team are all
committed to a structure that enables the delivery, support
and monitoring of audit quality.
The Head of Audit Quality sits on
the Audit Management Team (AMT)
and reports to the RSM UK Audit LLP
Management Board (Management
Board). The Audit Quality Leaders
(AQLs), are responsible for the regional
oversight of audit quality with a
network of Audit Quality Champions
(AQCs) reporting into them. The AQCs
take responsibility for audit quality
within an RSM office.
This network facilitates the
transmission and assimilation of the
messages from the top and ensures
there is a local face of quality available
to answer questions and queries.
The AQL and AQC roles both involve
interaction with the Quality
Assurance Department, National
Audit Technical Services and
Learning and Development.
Reporting to the Regional Managing
Partner (RAMP) in each office is
an Audit Group Manager (AGM),
responsible for the day-to-day
management of audit staff in that
office. The AGMs work closely with the
AQCs to ensure that the dual aims of
enhanced audit quality and improved
audit efficiencies are achieved.
