THE WILD WEST,
TWO WAYS
Cawsand (Cornwall) and Porspoder
(Finistère, Brittany)
Porspoder is a wild and beautiful place in
the department of Finistère that stretches
far out into the Atlantic. Like its twin town
Cawsand in the English county of Cornwall it
is a popular summer holiday spot. Cawsand
village on the Rame peninsula offers pretty
period cottages from £450,000, whilst
inland from Porspoder in Finistère, the most
affordable part of Brittany, a two-bedroom
character cottage costs from around €60,000,
or a much bigger property for €299,000 (see
below).
