develop sports science graduates who have the

This three year BASES and REPs endorsed course
aims to develop graduates who have the
scientific theory and practical skills required to
work as health and exercise professionals within
exercise referral schemes or other community

SPORT SCIENCE AND COACHING
BSC (HONS)
This three year BASES-endorsed programme is
looking for individuals who are interested in the
science that explains the coaching process, with a
view to going on to a career as a scientificallyinformed
coach, providing sport science support in
the coaching domain, or developing coach
education. Vocational opportunities for
scientifically-informed coaches have increased
dramatically over the past decade, and the
confidence, skills and knowledge that you will
develop through this course will prepare you to
pursue these opportunities
SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCE
MSCI (HONS)†
This four year MSci route will allow you to continue
to develop generic and specific knowledge and
hands-on skills with additional opportunities for
further specialism in specific areas through to
Masters level. This is a potentially more financially
attractive route to obtain a masters; you will be able
to apply for an undergraduate student loan for the
duration of your studies (currently loans are not
available for MSc degrees, and fees for these have to
be paid up-front).
