STUDENT VIEW
"My time at the University of Chichester will
always be treasured. I thoroughly enjoyed my
three years studying Theology. All the lecturers
knew us and were able to help us individually.
We had great discussions and could easily ask
questions. We couldn't get away with not doing
our work and lecturers couldn't get away with
boring lectures! We were honest with each other
and because of that, we worked hard and
lectures were always interesting and interactive.
The course itself was stimulating and challenged
my thinking in many areas. The staff were
always friendly and ready to help. They often
went out of their way to encourage us and
provide us with that added extra! I am very
grateful to the Department of Theology,
Philosophy and Religious Studies and would highly
recommend studying at Chichester."

THEOLOGY AND RELIGIOUS STUDIES
BA (HONS)
We offer an exciting and wide-ranging course
which investigates contemporary theological and
religious questions.
We achieved 100% student satisfaction in the 2014
NSS. Our course is distinctive because of its twiceweekly
small group tutorial work. This develops
your knowledge and assignment skills. You will work
with a core member of staff to improve your
academic ability. We offer an excellent selection of
modules investigating contemporary issues and
employing film, music, TV and literature in creative
ways. We offer core placement modules designed
to ensure you find and pursue the best career path
after university. Our course stands out because of
the varied range of assessment tasks set throughout
the semester with no unseen examinations (unless
you opt for New Testament Greek).
