MEDIA BA (HONS)
The Media and Cultural Studies BA (Hons)
encourages learning within a context that
encompasses a wide range of subjects and types of
study, with an emphasis on preparing you for work
in the media, cultural industries and beyond. You will
engage with contemporary events and trends
including the role of the individual and the changes
that new media are making. There are also
opportunities to take part in overseas, practical and
research projects.
CREATIVE AND DIGITAL MEDIA
BSC (HONS)†
Our Creative and Digital Media programme
encompasses the development of skills in digital
technologies, visual design, animation, postproduction
and VFX. As a student working
alongside screenwriters, filmmakers, composers,
and creative performers, you will develop your
skills in teamwork and be able to engage with
practical project work to support your specialist
professional development.
SPORTS MEDIA BA (HONS)†
This course focuses on producing mediated sport
content across digital platforms and sharing this with
specific audiences. Students work with both the
University's Institute of Sport and with external
clients, acquiring valuable skill-sets in sports media
production, researching, reporting, script-writing,
broadcasting, editing, directing, presenting, designing,
webcasting and social media as well as developing
knowledge of the sports industry, sports marketing
and communication.
