Your time at university will provide you with
academic qualifications, but it is also an
opportunity to experience new things, to broaden
your mind and to meet a range of different and
interesting people from a variety of backgrounds
and nationalities.
EXCHANGES
We run a number of exchanges with more than 20
partner universities around the world. Taking part in
an exchange gives you the opportunity to spend part
of your degree (normally one semester or one
year) studying at a university abroad. You can follow
courses at your host institution abroad which are
recognised by Chichester. This can be a great
learning experience and allows you to discover
another country, grow in confidence, meet new
people and make new friends.
ERASMUS+
We are part of the European Union's Erasmus+
Programme. Erasmus+ enables you to go on study
exchanges and work placements with partner
universities and businesses in other European
countries. The programme encourages cooperation
between European universities. It also helps
participating students by giving them a grant to help
fund their time abroad.
INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES
As well as the opportunity to go on exchange to
European countries as part of the Erasmus+
programme, there is also an opportunity to go on
international exchange to countries outside the
European Union, and we welcome exchange
students from other countries to the University.
AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE HELPS TO PREPARE
YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE LIFE, FOR WORKING, LIVING AND
INTERACTING IN A CHANGING, GLOBALISED WORLD,
AND PROVIDES YOU WITH SKILLS VALUED BY FUTURE
EMPLOYERS.
STUDENT VIEW
"My Erasmus exchange was the BEST
thing I ever did, I went to Dans och
Cirkushögskolan (the school of Dance
and Circus) in Stockholm, Sweden from
January to June. Not only did I get to
live in another country for six months
and experience a whole new culture, I
also gained so much invaluable knowledge
for my studies and would do it all over
again in an instant."
