These three-year programmes
are designed to enable you to
engage in a specialist interest and
to maximise your career
opportunities. They will appeal to
you if you are considering
working with children and young
people in the community, schools
or other educational settings.
Examples include church and faith
organisations, art galleries,
prisons, hospitals, charities and
international development
organisations. Whilst these
programmes do not lead to
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),
they do provide an excellent base
from which to apply for either a
PGCE or School Direct place to
train to become a teacher, if this
is your personal aspiration.
If you are not sure then these
degrees enable you to keep your
options open.
