GETTING ABOUT
With a range of different options available, it is easy
to get around our two locations. Our Bishop Otter
Campus is located just to the north of Chichester
city centre, about a twenty minutes walk from the
train station. The station has regular trains to
London Victoria and London Waterloo, with a
journey time of around one hour thirty-five minutes.
Additionally, there are regular trains to Portsmouth,
Southampton and Brighton, all of which are under
one hour away.
Bognor Regis Campus is located north-east of the
town centre, and is about a ten minutes walk from
the train station. Bognor Regis train station is also
on the direct London Victoria and London Bridge
line with a journey time of approximately one hour
forty five minutes.
Both of our locations are compact, which makes it
easy to get around on foot, and both areas have
good bus services.
For students travelling between the two campuses,
there is an inter-campus bus service. This is
operated by Stagecoach as a public service, but
funded by the University and West Sussex County
Council, which means that students travel at a
reduced rate of 60p per journey. The service runs
Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
throughout the year during the daytime, with the
evening service running Monday to Friday during the
University term-time only. A limited evening service
operates during student directed reading weeks.
If you're studying late in the library, have been to
evening rehearsals or have been enjoying a night at
either Zee Bar or the The HUB, your UCSU also
runs a safety bus to get you home at night.
