IT MANAGEMENT FOR BUSINESS
BSC (HONS)
The need to have senior management within
organisations who understand both business and the
value of technology is growing. Our e-skills
accredited IT Management for Business programme
will enable you to acquire the skills and experience
necessary to operate effectively across these areas.
As technology continues to innovate, the
expectations of information systems within
organisations also changes. Business increasingly
expects IT to enable better decision-making,
improve operations, identify new opportunities and
promote the business and its products or services
through electronic and social media. On this course,
you will have the opportunity to gain technical skills
based around a typical business IT infrastructure,
including database and web design. In addition, you
will develop skills to understand and influence the
business environment and to develop strategy,
manage resources and implement change. As this is
an e-skills accredited course you will have the
opportunity to engage directly with IT employers
through 'Guru' lectures and networking events.
