In December many of our academics were singled
out by the government for their outstanding work as
part of an assessment which measured our research
and that of other universities nationwide. It showed
that more than 90 per cent of our work was classed
as 'internationally renowned' while a further 15 per
cent was 'world-leading'.
The national assessment - called the Research
Excellence Framework (REF) - also showed that
Chichester contributed to economic prosperity,
national wellbeing, and the expansion of knowledge.
A jolly good Fellow: Chichester
tutor awarded £1,000s to
improve cancer treatment with
innovative theatre.
Our Department of History and Politics
