BUSINESS STUDIES BA (HONS)
The prosperity of business is reliant upon the
innovation and creativeness of its employees, and
this programme is about enabling you to acquire the
skills and experience necessary to flourish in a
challenging business environment. Over the course
of your degree studies, you will encounter a range
of practice-based topics across a series of business
and management disciplines. As someone graduating
from our Business Studies degree, you might
typically expect to work within a commercial
environment, but the skills you will develop through
the degree will be equally applicable to employment
within the public and not-for-profit sectors.
BUSINESS STUDIES AND ECONOMICS
BA (HONS)
This joint honours degree route provides the
opportunity to study aspects of Economics
alongside Business. In parallel with developing an
understanding of economic behaviour and the
economic environment, the Business Studies
elements of the provision will allow you to
encounter a range of practice-based topics. Through
the economics-focused components of the
programmes, you will develop an appreciation of
how economists think, and of the benefits to
managers of developing a greater understanding of
the discussion about economics that takes place
around us all the time.
