Over the past 79 years, legendary names in motor
sport have raced here -Trintignant, Louis Chiron, Stirling Moss,
John Surtees and Didier Pironi as well as the
greatly loved Fangio to name but a few...
the Circuit des Remparts - amazingly all these years
later it still
follows the same 'track'.
Extending to just 1279m,
the course includes three hairpins, a pair of
900 corners and
a high-speed straight with the
first hairpin providing a challenging proposition!
Held over the third weekend of
September each year,
racing here is thrilling. Cars
take in the bends and corners
