Institutes (RINC), and through the contributions of
organizations and groups united in cancer control, including
the Pan American Health Organization of WHO and the
American Cancer Society (26).
The success of this public policy requires societal support
and the commitment of the Peruvian government to
population health and cancer control. The presence and
commitment of the First Lady, Mrs Nadine Heredia, who was
nominated in 2014 as "Leader and Social Mobilizer for
