Use
Large dilator -
For larger rabbits and rodents
(over approx.1.5kg body weight).
Small dilator -
For small rabbits (under approx.1kg body weight), chinchillas
and other small rodents.
Used in combination with a mouth gag
To retract the cheeks and so aid visualisation of the mouth and
improve access to the cheek teeth.
To protect the inside of the cheeks during treatment however
other tissue guards need to be used in conjunction e.g.
wooden lollipop sticks.
